Montessori- pedagogy
Independence as a basis for learning
Maria Montessori's guiding principle
"Help me to do it myself"
shapes our everyday life and our attitude
We believe that every child wants to learn from within –
at their own pace , with their own interests and driven by their own motivation. Our task is to create the conditions that enable this natural growth.
How can this be implemented?
- Our team
Montessori methods are only effective if they are implemented competently , attentively, and consistently .
Therefore, we place the greatest emphasis on the qualifications and experience of our educators .
Our team consists of:
Montessori teachers with internationally recognized diplomas (including AMI)
many years of experience in Montessori institutions at home and abroad
continuous training and further education
a deep inner attitude of truly observing and understanding children
Many of our educators have been accompanying Lilli & Lori for many years – this consistency creates trust, security and pedagogical depth.
What is important to know?
Sensitive phases –
Learning at the right moment

Children go through so-called sensitive periods – times when they are particularly receptive to certain skills.
Some children suddenly want to:
work independently
concentrate intensely
Discover letters, numbers, or language
Create order or take responsibility
Our educators observe each child carefully and recognize when which activity is appropriate .
This is how learning happens:
at the opportune moment
without pressure
with joy
sustainable and deeply rooted
The prepared environment – learning begins in the room

Our rooms are deliberately designed as a prepared environment.
They are:
clearly structured
calm and aesthetic
at the children's eye level
logically ordered
The Montessori materials are arranged in such a way that children can independently choose, work, repeat and deepen their understanding.
The environment provides orientation, security and peace – the basis for focused learning.
Independent work – freedom and responsibility

During free work time, the children decide for themselves:
what they work with
how long they will be occupied
where and with whom they work
This freedom leads to:
genuine motivation
Endurance
Self-confidence
inner discipline
Our educators are present and attentive – always ready to provide support when help is needed.
Montessori materials – learning with all the senses

The Montessori material guides children step by step.
from simple to complex , making abstract concepts comprehensible.
Practical life
Pouring, scooping, cutting, grinding, and binding – strengthens fine motor skills.
Concentration and independence.
Sensory material
Colors, shapes, weights, sounds – train perception and differentiation.
Language
Stories, language games, sound work, first letters – supports vocabulary, expression and early reading.
mathematics
Understanding quantities, recognizing digits, and grasping basic calculation methods.
Cosmic Education
Nature, culture, science – mindfully discovering the first connections of our world.
Maria Montessori described the
“Polarization of attention”
– the moment when a child is completely absorbed in their activity.
We protect these moments and give them space.
Why does Montessori work so well for Lilli & Lori?
small, family-like groups
exceptionally well-trained educators
international & bilingual impulses
24/7 daily nature experiences
Time, peace and a genuine relationship
Montessori at our school means…
… to take children seriously.
… to trust them.
… to provide space for independent learning.
…and to support them with heart and competence.
