Bilingualism
Independence as a basis for learning
German and English as an integral part of everyday life
– in games, conversations, songs, stories, projects and in our interactions.
Completely without pressure and without traditional lessons.
In this way, children experience language not as a subject to be learned, but as something living, familiar and playful.

Language lives through people.
What makes our bilingualism special is our international team.
Our educators are native German and/or English speakers and naturally integrate their language, culture, and personality into everyday kindergarten life. Whether reading aloud, during morning circle time, crafting, or outside in the garden.
Language arises through action, interaction, and shared experience .
At Lilli & Lori, every educator speaks
consistently one language.
The children clearly associate each caregiver with either German or English.
– this is how bilingualism develops naturally and without confusion.
Immersion – Learning in a language bath
We work according to the proven immersion principle .
This means that the children playfully immerse themselves in the English language – similar to learning their native language.
• English is the language of play and everyday life
• It is not translated, but shown, experienced and repeated
• Gestures, facial expressions, movement and repetition help with understanding.
This is how children learn English almost incidentally , with curiosity and joy.
